Family Guy - The Movie?!

Image hosted by Photobucket.comOn Monday night, Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and he made an interesting announcement of sorts that so far nobody on the internet seems to have mentioned (either that, or I'm completely useless when searching for things). When discussing the amazing sales of the DVD's already out, he mentioned that he is working on a Family Guy direct-to-DVD feature length film due out later this year in which Stewie searches for his real father. No other details were mentioned, but I'll be sure to keep you posted as soon as any come up.

  • it has been on for a while..

  • Thanks for the positive feedback, douchebag. If you don't like the info on the website, don't read it. BTW - take a look for it on imdb now. You'll notice it's not there anymore.

Not to sound like a wise ass, but there's proof that it was on imdb. I don't know if this is actually the Family Guy movie or not, take it as you want to.

  • No worries. It just rubs me the wrong way when people feel the need to act like jerks when all I'm trying to do is help people out by providing information. Even if it had been on imdb, I was specifically citing an interview from earlier this week. Going ahead and mentioning this was on imdb really served no purpose asides from to say "this is old information." If people don't have anything nice to say, they really don't need to say anything at all, you know what I mean?

That being said, I do appreciate the link, however, I'm not sure that this is actually the movie in question. It sounds more like maybe a retrospective - but the details in the imdb entry are scant, so anything's possible.

  • A touch oversensitive there perhaps. All that other poster was doing was replying to comments you had made where you stated you hadn't seen it on the web and he or she provided you with more information which I would have thought was useful to you. Your post was definetly very interesting but by adding another source for people to look for further information, does that not help?

  • To be honest, you're probably right. I spend an awful lot of time and energy on this site, and every now and then certain strangers decide to post messages that pick one of my posts apart. For example, see all the dumb young pricks who felt the need to nastily point out how "old" the pics of the revolution were. Well, a lot of people, like myself, hadn't seen them - and a lot of those people greatly appreciated that post. Hell, about a dozen other sites linked to the story, so obviously it had some merit. But instead of lashing out, I just sat there and took their negative attitiudes.

Maybe it was just the heat, but coming in and reading the anonymous comments here just really rubbed me the wrong way. I guess I got a little snarky. You're right, they weren't that terrible. I think I was just riding on the negativity wave from before and this little comment was the straw that broke the camels back.
